The Bavarian Bier Cafe'

We went out for tea or dinner which ever you call it to a German cafe for my birthday dinner, it's not my birthday for 6 weeks but the son and daughter in law will be in QLD so we had an outing to celebrate while they were here .
This is what we ate, the food was very nice but I wouldn't go there in summer. The food is too heavy for hot weather, last night there was a bit of chill still in the air so it went down well.

Here they are, looking sweet
Of course they couldn't keep it up for long we must pull faces when mum takes photos
The beer fairy has had a large beer notice the red and rosy face
I look a bit rosy too, it was a very popular place to eat lots of people, three very crazy  guys playing musical things stamping the floor and singing,it was all great fun and very noisy.
Leeroy was up here last night waiting for us to come home and again this morning.

    The food does look quite heavy, it would keep you warm half the night. I hope they have a lighter menu for the summer months.

    It looks like you had a wonderful outing,a dn the food looks yummy. Don't all kids pull faces when you pick up a camera, no matter how old they are? Mine do!

      He is not really a Cardinals fan, he goes for the Giants but he likes the Cardinals.
      I have a 49's jacket but thats a different sport.

      We did get doggie bags and shredded the meat and reheated the cabbage and had them with noodles the next night, it was not bad. In these places they do give you to much food.

    This place would be right up my husband's alley! When we were in Las Vegas, we went to a German style beer garden...he got a large plastic boot filled with beer and the rest of the night was just a blur for him!

    Yay to stretched out birthdays!

    What fun that your kids were in town to help you celebrate an early birthday. That way you can have the birthday celebration all year. The 12 months of birthday. When you have cats, you always have someone waiting for you to come home. Ha

    I have a few fairies living in the garden but the one on the side is a painting that was on the bottom of my daughters bed when she was a little girl.
