Toadstools and cats

MORE RAIN BUT NOT SO MUCH THIS TIME, WE ARE HAVING A WEEK OF SUNSHINE OR SO THE WEATHER BUREAU HAS PROMISED, THE DARTS MOST HAVE LANDED ON FINE THIS WEEK BUT IT'S LOOKING GOOD SO FAR.

SO I'M TAKING PICTURES OF MY LITTLE TOADS BEFORE THEY DISAPPEAR, THE SUN KILLS THEM QUICK SMART.

OUR LITTLE STRAY HAS HAD US GUESSING NOBODY WAS SURE OF HER SEX, SHE HAS BEEN WITH US 8MONTHS NOW AND NO ONE HAS GOT CLOSE ENOUGH TO TELL BUT SHE WAS UP A TREE THE OTHER DAY SO WE HUNG AROUND FOR A BIT AND DISCOVERED SHE A HE. MY FOUR CATS ARE ALL GIRLS BUT THEY ARE ALL DESEXED SO NOT A PROBLEM.

HE IS A PRETTY BOY AND THE EYE MAKE UP IS LOVELY.

KIDNEY NOT TOO SURE ON HER FEET SHE IS GETTING OLD NOW.

OH BUGGER IT I WANT SOLID GROUND AGAIN.

THATS BETTER.

COME ON MUM MAKE THE BED SO I CAN SETTLE DOWN FOR THE MORNING NAP.

GO AWAY AND LEAVE US ALONE.

I NEED MORE DRAGONS THIS ONE GUARDS THE SPARE BED AND THE CATS DON'T LIKE HIM SO THEY STAY AWAY.

LOOK AT THAT SUNSHINE NOT SEEN THAT FOR A WHILE.

MY LITTLE TREES THE BANANA BENDERS DELIVERED HAVE PICKED UP, I WAS WORRIED THEY WOULD FEEL THE COLD TO MUCH, THEY WERE LOOKING A BIT SICK A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING MUM. IF YOU ARE TAKING PHOTO WE WILL BE IN THEM JUST SHOW MY BEST SIDE, IN KIDNEYS CASE IT'S HER TAIL.

WOULD YOU BELIEVE THIS POOR FELLOW GOT SUNBURNT HE LIKES THE SHADE BUT I DIDN'T THINK A BIT OF SUN WOULD HURT HIM AS IT IS NOT VERY STRONG THIS TIME OF YEAR I WAS WRONG SO HE IS BACK IN THE SHADE NOW.

  3. Hi Merle...Glad the sun has been shining for you.

It's hotter than blue blazes here but humid, too, which makes it miserable.

You garden greenery looks so good for winter! It never snows where you live? Susan

  4. Cats on beds...just how it is meant to be. I often wish I could apply eye liner as well as cats do!

Merle, the sunlight in the photo of Kidney stepping off your headboard is beautiful - what a pretty scene you captured there :-)
