MY WEEK IN PICTURES AND THE BEER FARIES SHED.

WE WILL START WITH PRETTY GARDEN PICTURES AS THE BEER FAIRS SHED IS NOT PRETTY.
I'M not shouting but I still am having trouble enlarging my print I will have to consult my computer expert for advice.

WE HAD A COUPLE OF DAYS OF LOVELY WINTER SUNSHINE AND THE REST OF THE WEEK WAS HORRIBLE.

ALL THE LITTLE GARDEN PEOPLE HAD A BATH AS THEY WERE ALL SPLASHED WITH MUD, THEN DRIED IN THE SUNSHINE, THIS ONE DOESN'T WANT TO GET SUNBURN FAT CHANCE OF THAT..

IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS I CAN GO BACK TO EATING LUNCH AND BRECKY HERE, TOO COLD YET.

I EVEN GOT THE WASHING DONE.

AND BURNT OFF SOME WOOD AND TREE BRANCHES THIS WAS A LOVELY WARM JOB.

THE BEER FAIRIES MONEY TREE

AND MINE, HIS WAS DYING BUT IT'S PICKED UP I TOLD HIM IF HE SPENDS ALL HIS MONEY IT WILL DIE SO HE SAVES A BIT NOW.

MISS KIDNEY IS ALWAYS CHECKING THINGS OUT.

OUR FAVOURITE SPOT FOR VEGING OUT SEE THE RAKE IS THERE I SPENT THE MORNING RAKING UP LEAVES.

I EVEN GOT A CLOSE UP OF PIDGE, IT'S A BIT BLURRY HE DOESN'T LIKE ME GETTING TO CLOSE, ONLY THE BEER FAIRY CAN HANDLE HIM.

THIS IS THE SHED WHAT A MESS BUT WILL KEEP THE PICTURES SMALL.

'IT IS SO FULL OF BITS AND PIECES EVEN HE IS NOT SURE WHAT'S THERE.

SPARE TOILETS IN CASE OURS BREAKS.

AND YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH MOULDY SHOES

LEROY AND KIDNEY REALY ARE ENJOYING THE FEW DAYS OF SUNSHINE.

LOOKS LIKE LEROY HAS PUT ON A BIT OF WEIGHT OVER WINTER,  I GLAD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE.

SEE A RAINBOW MAYBE NO MORE RAIN.

THIS IS TO BE MY HERB GARDEN ONE DAY.

FELT A FEW SPOTS OF RAIN TIME TO GO INSIDE.

    1. Much too cold for me, everything aches these days when it's cold.
We don't get snow but the winds have a real chill.

  2. Hello Merle...Your garden and patio are very lovely. You have a sweet little piece of paradise there.

How long does your winter last? How cold does it get? No snow? That's not so bad. Susan

    1. Wen we moved in here 22years ago, the garden was lawn a rose bush and some very dead veges, it was the middle of summer and super hot, I planted some trees and the birds dropped seeds and it all grew from there.

  6. Hi Merle, I am laughing so hard - I think we have a crate of mouldy shoes in the shed, too! Your gardens are pretty with all your little gnomes and garden friends and all the leaves swept away. Lovin' those contented kitties and Pidge. Always love visiting you. Hope you get more sun :) xo

  7. I adore your garden. Plenty of enchanted nooks. Which no doubt the cats know well. The beer fairies shed looks like my father's garage - he built a car-port so he had more room for STUFF.
He also built a fishpond in an old bath and sunk it into the garden beneath the living room windows. Gold fish and water lilies - thank you for the reminder, which has made my eyes leak a bit in loving memory.

    1. I once had a fishpond in the backyard but never any fish, I dug a hole and cemented it in and filled it with water, we had 3 dogs at the time and they loved it it was their own cooling off area all summer they would take turns in sitting in it so the fish never did move in.

  8. The beer fairie at our house has a great, huge three car shed for his bits and pieces. He has also filled the basement. I will not let it come oozing upstairs.

might just start a new trend!
But seriously, give us an idea how long the winter weather lasts and the temperature, will you?

    1. Usually we only have about 6weeks of cold weather but this winter it started early, June is always cold, July is windy and August cool then spring which is lovely.
The temps have been dropping to 3and 4C on the coast, thats cold for us, inland on the other side of the mountains it is colder, they sometimes get snow and down south in the Snowy mountains it snows a fair bit, that where they have a ski season, I think pretty much the only place in Australia but it also snows in Tasmania.
All I know is I miss the sun.

  10. It's so lovely and green that I am almost fooled into thinking it is summer there, too. Blogger went bonkers on me awhile ago and now I can only change font or font size manually at the top of the page where I am writing my post. My husband says that a man has to have a lot of stuff to create things. Yours must feel the same way.

  11. I love your garden! So many little nooks and corners to enjoy. I like the little people too. I have one or two of those myself, but I haven't found where to put them yet. I love the sitting area, the one where you left the rake.
