NOT MUCH TO SAY THIS WEEK, WELL IF YOU DON'T MENTION THE CHANGE OF THE PRIME MINSTER AND I WON'T BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE THE GREY GOAST WHO HAS THAKEN OVER FROM THE FIERY REDHEAD. We had a lot of rain. |
It rained most of the week so I went nowhere and did nothing much, I spent most of the week under a blanket and reading a good book. |
AT LEAST CHARLIE THE CAR GOT A WASH SORT OF. |
NOT SURE WHY THIS IS HERE BUT IT WAS ON THE CAMERA |
THE BANANA BENDERS ARE MY SON AND DAUGHTER IN LAW FROM QUEENSLAND, IT'S MUCH WARMER THERE SO THEY GET HOT WATER BOTTLES SO THEY DONT'T FEEL THE COLD SO MUCH, I THINK THE COVERS ARE SO CUTE. |
MY CHATTY CORNER. |
THIS IS THEIR BEDROOM. THEY WILL HAVE TO KICK THE TWINS OUT THEY LIKE THIS BED WHEN IT'S COLD. |
wow, thats some rain, its lovely where you are and what a lovely bed!
ReplyDeleteIt has cleared up a bit still grey skies but no rain today.
DeleteMerle..........
That's the only kind of wash my car ever gets. I don't like it well enough to spend money on a car wash.
ReplyDeleteIt's not our car, it's the sons Sydney car he just parks it there for safe keeping.
DeleteMerle.............
You have a lovely home and that home is in a lot of water right now!
ReplyDeleteIt's getting better but we were getting water in the laundry.
DeleteMerle.........
Hi Merle...Believe it or not, we've had a lot of rain in Massachusetts, too. (Did you send it from Australia? ha ha)
ReplyDeleteNice photos. Enjoyed them. Susan
No we haven't so far would you like some, we have some to spare. Our dams are full and they opened the flood gates yesterday that doesn't happen very often.
DeleteMerle.........
...(O:
ReplyDeleteChatty corner, haha.
ReplyDeleteWe, who could do with it, got very little rain.
ReplyDeleteLove your home and the hot water covers are v. cute. And the twins could provide additional heating. We refer to very cold nights as a two or three cat night.
We get summer thunderstorms here in Florida but it's far from cold during them...it's been in the 90's these past couple of weeks. The Banana Benders bed looks very comfy and the hot water bottle covers are too cute!
ReplyDeleteCan I just say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE that iron and wood bed in that bedroom. I have never seen one like it. I guess I have furniture on the brain because I honed in on that.
ReplyDeleteWe're having a rainy season here, and we NEED it. I will not complain (yet...)
( I usually keep up with international news, but I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't know you had a new P. M.)
Your chatty corner looks so welcoming and I think under a blanket with a good book is an excellent way to spend a rainy day.
ReplyDeleteLove the hot water bottle covers.
That rain is coming down straight as stair rods..WOW!
ReplyDeleteWe need some rain, we are forecast a storm this afternoon..fingers crossed.

You still have lots of greenery around thanks to the rain. It looks like it has knocked down lots of leaves and twigs.
ReplyDeleteSeems your corner of the world resembles the Pacific NW coast to a 'T' Merle! It rained so hard yesterday and so fast, the trift shoppe ceiling came crashing down and water gushed in at a speed to rival a cascade! Leave it to me to only notice because people were screaming! One tiny bargain (banana holder!) purchased!
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying your visitors!
I love curling up in the house when the weather is yucky. Though, it looks like you had more than your fair share of rain.
ReplyDeleteYou've copped a lot of rain down there, Merle. Hope it's not causing too much trouble in your laundry :-(
ReplyDeleteBeen cold and drizzly here, but it's nice by the woodfire..reading a good book under the cover of a snuggly blanket is my kind of week lol!
Love the cute hot water bottle covers!
The banana benders will appreciate them :-)
love..Trish x
Well, sometimes staying under a blanket with a good book (and a cat...lol) is the best way to spend the day! Thanks for stopping by and your good wishes on my recent health scare! Very happy to hear from you!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Cindy
a ho-hum week with the iffy weather; glad you had the good book option Merle
ReplyDelete...Sorry to hear you got water nin the laundry, Merle......hope it wasn't too bad.....
ReplyDeletewe've got a good amount of leaves off the Campher Laurel over our patio... and the side passage is slippery , I have to be careful when I go taking photos......
Say "Hello" to the banana benders for me... xxxx <3 ::)
Hugs...
