The camera died

I was in the middle of taking photos the other day and the camera died so this is the last one I took.

The second last Angus is not much of a foot stool he just wanders off when he has had enough.

This funny little man lives in my garden most of the time when the weather is nice, he is not allowed to smoke in the house.

Well as I have no new photos these are old ones this is a painting of my mum my sister and I in Hyde Park in 1952 it is only half finished but will add a finished one when I  get a new camera.

This a friend of mine who asked me to do a wedding painting as she didn't have one  I do like doing people but I am still  learning, I wonder if you can guess who it is.

This is Susy I tried with eyes closed but it looked wrong so it changed it.

With eyes open I think she looks younger.

This is the beginning of my wedding painting it's not finished yet, the beer fairy has changed a bit then so have I.

M&M and I  will say bye bye now.

because its time to go  new clock for my bathroom so we are not to long in the shower and never late again.

  1. Hi Merle,
Angus and M&M seem to get along fine. Sorry to hear the camera died on you.
    I'm with Angus...being a footstool isn't fun...I'd walk away too.
    I like your paintings.
    Have a good week
    Barb xx

    1. Hi Barb,
It worked again for a few shots then died again, Shara going to give me one of her simple cameras or I will buy one but I have trouble with them for some reason they don't last long.
      See you tomorrow.

  2. I enjoyed seeing your paintings, you are very talented. I like the second painting of Suzy, too. She is very pretty. Thank you for commenting on my blog. I appreciate your visits.-------- Shannon

    1. Hi Shannon,
Yes Suzy is a very pretty person, she is a mum now with two girls but she had a pixi look when she was younger and I always liked the little fitted cap she wore on her wedding day, thank you for visiting my blog and the comments.

  3. Great paintings! And dog pictures are always a delight.

    1. Hi Carol,
Glad you like the paintings since I gave up work a few years back I had time to do them you learn as you go. The dogs belong to my children and they are all working so they visit because they would be home all week alone it works well for everyone.

  4. I'm sorry to hear about your camera, Merle!
I know how frustrating it is when you want to use one and it's broken.
I hope you can get it fixed soon.
It's nice that your daughter is going to give you one as well.
When you've been using a camera regularly you miss it when it's gone :-(
I have an expensive one that hubby bought me as a birthday gift.
I love it and appreciate his thoughtfulness.. but I actually enjoyed playing with my little old cheapie from Aldi's more.
I get intimidated by the cost and technological confusion of the bigger one!

    1. Hi Trish,
how are things, I haven't heard much from you lately but Barb said you were busy with the garden, this is the best time outside before it gets to hot. We have planted out the back area, Lex has a vegi garden it's doing nicely I will put up some pictures when I get a new camera.Wow it's black here we are go ing to get a storm soon.
      love Merle.......
