The Twins Parents come to visit.

My son and daughter in law are coming to visit so I do some spring cleaning and get the place spic and span.

I'm trying to take pictures at different angles it doesn't really work but here goes.

I do like my dragon he moves around a lot.

This one is sitting on the floor.

One of the twins waiting for them to arrive.

Everyone needs a bowl of fruit or two.

Got sick of waiting I think I will have a nap.

I should paint this room a different colour any ideas.

Breakfast in the garden don't worry Angus will clean up any mess.

I cleaned up for these people and look how they dress, the beer fairy has a lot of influence here but they are going to spend the day cleaning and painting, There is still a lot to do to the Sydney house before they can rent it out.

This is Charlie the car that was parked outside of their house for a couple of months, he needs a wash among  other things many spiders have moved in no worries of him being stolen.

Not sure what this is but is thriving.

Poor Charlie we will keep him in our driveway when they go home again.

This is the other twin she just went to sleep on the bed and my other two cats are asleep under the trees in the garden.

Will you go away I need my rest.

Pretty yellow roses to finish up.

My reading chair.

And Angus 's  blue pig.

Getting the garden ready for winter with Angus.

Winter is coming the garden needs a bit of a reshuffle, I am repotting some bromiliads ( not sure how to spell that) that my friend gave me these are a lovely colour.

This fellow was growing out the bottom of the pot so he got a new home too.

This one sits on my table, pretty blue berries.

Pidge has a new water bowl but he doesn't like it it's plastic and he has always had glass but the visitors keep knocking it over so he has claimed the birdbath in the garden for his own but hasn't mastered how to drink out of it without getting his feet wet not a happy chap at all.

Angus is a beautiful fellow, he is helping me in the garden today.

The days are shorter and not as warm.

Angus standing guard over Pidges cage well it's not really a cage as it all open and pidge doesn't live there, he lives  under the eves in the back of the house in a spot he selected but we still keep his food there.

Some food here not much but I will eat it anyway, I must have dropped some of my lunch, Angus is good at cleaning up.

New plants just planted.

"Hey must be time for a snack" he looks like that is what he is saying.

Dark patches in the garden now.

Only a few flowers now.

It's getting dark and cool time to go inside now.

My holiday is Sawtell.

Last week I spent some time in Sawtell up on the north coast of NSW. It involved a train trip of 9 hours up and 9 hours back in mainly rural countryside so I took some photos out the train window not all worked out too well but here goes.  The country is green usually by this time it's brown and thirsty as it's the end of summer here.

We have had a lot of rain and in some areas there is flood damage, I tried to take pictures of the creeks that wind around these areas but the train is pretty fast so I often just missed out.

It's very restful to wiz past rolling hills and I often had little nana naps to pas the time an hour in the plane but you see nothing of the countryside.

Of cause I had to check out the garden .

I really like the stone wall that runs down the side of the house.

They have houses on each side but the back fence keeps the cows out from a large paddock, they come and bang on the fence so you don't get to sleep in and kookaburras sit on the fence and laugh early in the morning all unusual for me.

This is my sister and her hubby the paper must be interesting this morning.

This sad looking tree was blown over in a storm so they chopped off most of the branches and replanted it and now it's it has tiny new shoots everywhere.

Me  at the local beach, this day it was very windy and just a tad cold, no one was swimming.

A lovely long beach and no people it's not like this in Sydney.

My sister and her hubby

If you follow the beach it becomes more rocky a great place to poke around.

Storm clouds rolling in time to head home.

A calm place to bring small children to swim away from the wild surf.
