New roof out back and odd things

I have upset my cat she is just not talking to me.
This is Leroy and she always sat with me while watching tv.
Lately Mal has been sitting in Leroys spot and because it warm outside Leroy has been sleeping outside but we had a few cold days and Leroy came back inside to find her spot gone.

She just doesn't look happy

and now she has moved in next to the Beer fairy.

We are replacing the green sheeting out back it's been there a million years or so and has many holes.

The replacement sheeting has been in the driveway for a million years waiting to be installed but I finally organised these two, the beer fairy is still organising himself or maybe he is solving the world problems I not quite sure.

This is Bo Peap [3 sheep are still missing]. He is my worker for today wonderful guy we know him many years.
There is a lot of tree trimming to do as many branches have grown over the roof.

This branch has grown and is now resting on the gutter so the chain saw came out to cut it as it's huge

 and the Beer fairy face of concentration, it's hard work holding the ladder.
The finished job, now it needs a new paint job most likely my job.

 But it lets in a lot more light, might be able to plant things here now only pots lived here before and they had to be moved every now and again.

 This was the cut, hope the tree lives but it might not as it was a big cut and a lot of tree was removed.

 This is my project it's to hold the vines back so you can get in the gate to the back garden, not finished yet still working on the design.

 Well this is it the finished picture, maybe a few changes needed but I'm not sure what yet, any ideas.

I took three pictures because the flash shows up but I'm not good at taking photos.

Hot days in the garden and a new painting

We are having a heatwave in the centre of our country in the hottest town in Australia it reached over 50c that is according to our thermometer 120f now that's hot, no where near that here but we would have topped the 100f mark and we had a few drops of rain just enough to send the humidity up so it was hot and damp too not my favourite weather so I spent a few days doing not much at all, I just fiddled around in the garden and took photos.

My cats joined me Leroy was asleep somewhere but Kidney was restless and followed me around.

This little bloke just looks like the beer fairy.

This is a lime but it is should be a lemon.

now this is the second lemon tree, lets hope these are lemons.

but it has thorns and they are rather nasty.

I sitting in the back yard under the trees that's about all I can manage on a day this hot.

But I can manage to manage to move the camera around.

well I might wonder down to the kitchen for a drink, something cool

OH the bar-b-que managed to get cleaned so thats ready for another year, I wonder if it gets used this year.

Mal was sitting out the front a bit of a breeze here.

 This is two days on and yesterday I started another painting I haven't done any for a while now but this year I intend to do more, this is the start.

Household chores and things.

Here I am packing away Pidges and Drumsticks food but someone has wandered in and thinks wow this is a big food bowl so she is just helping herself.

This was so pretty yesterday but I  forgot to take a picture.

I moved the Bar-B-Q for its annual clean, I'm not sure why we have one I don't like barbequed food much but every now and again we might have one.

They are putting the tiles on next door have been since 6am this morning so guess who was woken up at 6am this morning.

They are pretty fast but oh so noisy, one of them was having girlfriend trouble so now I know all about it too.

I cleaning my roof rafters for painting and then we will replace the roof as this one now has holes and a lot of leaf litter at the moment.
