This is a sweet little bird cage that lives in my garden but it need a clean and a new paint job. |
Angus and M&M came for a play date, the beer fairy & son went off to play golf, Angus was on his weekly visit so M&M came over to keep him company. |
I followed them around to take photos but they were too fast for me, this is my clothes line area, great afternoon son not much in the morning. |
Still getting away from me. |
Got you |
This needs a clean out too. |
My daughter bought this for me, the birds are fake I don't like birds in cages, sometimes the wild birds come to visit. |
This lunch and morning tea area, the rubber mats are there so we don't sink in the ground, I will add pebbles when finished. |
The grape vine is starting to shoot. |
I like these flowers they are so different. |
Hello Merle...You have your special little spot of paradise on earth in your sweet garden! Ohhhhh, I love the little birdcage, too. Thanks for sharing, Merle. Susan
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
DeleteI do love my garden sometimes I wish it was bigger but too much work.
Merle.....
Hi Merle,
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful garden. My garden has gone to sleep for another year. You asked about the birds... how do they take a bath with the pumpkin in there? Well, our songbirds have all flown south and the frost is on its way. No birdies are taking baths these days, I'm afraid. :( I miss them too! Thanks for your visit and enjoy your weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
Hi Sadie,
DeleteI forget some places have real cold winters, we have birds all year and pidg lives here all the time, he does chase the other birds away when they eat his food.
Merle....
Your garden is a nice place for Angus and M@M to explore nature. Our temperatures are cooling down and the leaves are turning beautiful colors. It seems so strange that you are just experiencing spring. What a wonderful world we live in!--------- Shannon
ReplyDeleteHi Shannon,
DeleteYour Fall is prettier than ours most of our gums are evergreen, we have some that change colour but not so many but you can't bet the smell of gum trees after rain on a warm day.
Merle....
Hi Merle, there's lots of things happening in your garden!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing Angus and M&M and hearing about their adventures.
Your grape vine is going to be fabulous - is it ornamental or do you get grapes from it?
Our peach and nectrines are covered in baby fruit at the moment but we'll need to put netting over them to keep the birds at bay :-)
love..Trish
Hi Trish,
DeleteThe grape is a black musket, Lex likes them i don't eat grapes they make my mouth swell, wine does the same thing, we have what I think is was a peach tree growing down the side but it didn't have any flowers, do they have flowers.
Merle....
Wow! That's a severe allergy you have to grapes :-(
DeleteYes, peach trees get a pretty soft pink flower from which the fruit grows.
Our pear tree skipped the flower stage this year and went straight to leaves - so no dessert pears for us this season!!
Trish x
You must live in a temperate area (perhaps all of Australia is this temperate) to have your plants beginning to grow up so quickly. It's lovely to prepare for the end of spring and summer to come. Your garden looks like a delightful area. Cute pups!
ReplyDeleteHI Vee,
DeleteNo we have a lot of variety in our weather, up north is very hot most of the year and down south in Tasmania it is quite cold, we are in the middle so it's pretty good all year except late summer is always very humid.
The pups are my grandchildren as I have none of the human kind they visit weekly much to my cats displeasure.
Merle......
Hi Merle....Your garden is going well. I love the grape vine and the bromiliads. The dogs are having a good time. The birdcage from your daughter is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week
Barb xxxx
