Our QLD holiday

This little fellow was just over being a baby when he left Sydney they have grown so much.

Clemy is not as big but much wiser and grown up well sometimes.

Dad is just relaxing

They gathered firewood for the fire, little sticks are always needed.

Four chicken provide a lot of eggs.

Feeding the birds not shy at all and they ended up with half my sandwich

The devil just woke up

and popped out to say hello

or not at all

The pool was not ready for swimming and just a bit on the cold side yet

My grand daughter likes the camera well sometimes and she takes a good photo where her brother likes playing with cars more .

So we had a photo shoot the beer fairy got into a few photos

The second last day we played golf, well the fellows played golf we would be still there if I played, it is a long way between holes mainly pulled the golf buggy around but did stop to take some photos.

So much study and concentration in hitting a ball.

QLD holiday

I will be missing for a week off to Qld to see the twins and their mother and father and my son and daughter in law a family get together on the farm.

Just checking the camera

and saying goodbye to the many lizards that live here, see you in a week.

Days in the spring sun

We have had wonderful weather in the last week so time to get stuff done in the garden

Morning tea chair Pidge often joins me for a drink out of the bird bath.

This is all clipped back and bark added it's a bit on the bright side but will fade slowly to a more natural colour.

I working around the garden slowly cleaning and replacing dead plants.

On cooler days i finished my painting.

This drawing looked a bit odd I think the hands are a bit to small.

Often if you take a picture you can see things differently, do you like the frame I made that.

The first week of spring

Boo peep little mate spent the night with us last Saturday afternoon and night , while his master went out with his kids for Fathers Day she was very good but she watched the door waiting for her mate to come home.

 She likes warm pillows.

 Barbarba and I went to see the entries for the archiebold  art prize in the Sydney art gallery  we stopped for coffee  these two fellows were stealing sugar, they took the packets and opened them and took them up to higher ground to enjoy them.

No  photos of the paintings you are not allowed to take photos with a camera but people do with a phone, they had 900 odd entries and showed 51 not really fair they should show more than that.

This is my jasmine all out in flower smells lovely but plays up with my nose as I get older.

I worked on it a bit more and now I'm happy with it, not much more to say it's been a quiet week.

The strand arcade and The Marble Bar

This is the oldest cash regiester I think I have ever seen and very fancy it was to.

And a wooden lady I would love for my garden but maybe she wouldn't last too long in the wet .

We had afternoon tea in the QBE but had had a big lunch in the Strand Arcade so not to hungry so cutting the cakes in half and only had one serving, that was plenty.

I'm not sure why I took this photo .

This is The Marble Bar hard to take photos it is very dark no one there but us and a another couple I think they had just opened .

We now have trams in the main street of downtown Sydney no cars anymore a few blokes wondering around trying to look important.

This guy was doing something,  the tramway has taken a long time to do and is well over budget, the tramway is now finished and now they are testing it for 3 months our state premier went on a ride the other day but it is not open to the public till christmas time why it requires so much testing I have no idea.

This was my ex work place  no longer a front door in the street all blocked off

And cranes in the front yard so maybe they are doing something with it as I know it was only rented when I worked there.
