Painting waves, dragon fruit and strange light.

 Today is cold and wet so I will spend the day painting, well I did start cleaning the house but I blew out the motor on my vacuum cleaner smoke, sparks and a bad smell so that's that it, I killed another one, been a few over the years.
This is the start, lots of water outside so may as well paint some inside as well.

 Snack time it's great sitting here with the heater on but hunger calls, this is dragon fruit wonderful  things, I am very fond of them.

 Some are red inside some white, all good but red is best.

 The beer fairy called me outside to take photos, wonderful light but this is not a storm just crazy light.

 It's about 4pm in the afternoon but very dark with sun shinning in limited areas.

 I has got very dark.

 Then turned bluey pink.

 Settled back to paint but got a visitor, she hits you on the leg for a bit if you ignore her the claws come out.

 Took a few photos to show progress, will show the final painting next time.

 You are ignoring me mum, I don't like that, have you seen such a mean look, the claws are about to come out, my little honey wants a snack and a play so time for a break, that gray thing is my leg.

No story for Words on Wednesday this week writers block has set in.

A walk to the doctors

It's a nice rainy day but only light so I will walk to the doctors.
Starting off not much traffic this morning not that I blame them it is a bit wet.

 This is the wonderful garden but the photos never look too good I think it's too much white on white to show up well, I will try again on a sunny day.

 But this is a dragon fruit vine, love the fruit.

 The tiny shopping centre next to the doctors, I had to have blood tests so this is handy for breakfast, I had coffee and a doughnut not very healthy but I was starving.

 This garden has more little figures in it than I've seen in any one else's.

 Deep people live here but they sound like fun.

 I'm going to make one of these, I had a go before and my effort wasn't much good and it fell apart.

Don't know what this is but it's the middle of winter and it flowering maybe a bit confused.

House auction Sydney's crazy prices.

.There was a house auction just down the road from me this morning so I wondered down, Sydney house prices are crazy at the moment, lets see what this one goes for .

 I do love these paperbarks they been here since we moved in.

And the treehouse on the corner has been repainted red it was pink a few months back.

The Auction was slow in starting so I went down to the creek for a look usually there are ducks down here not surprising as it's known as duck creek but today water fowls,  they were over the other side so hard to see.

Look at the rubbish, last time I was down here they had just cleaned up and it looked wonderful it just doesn't last, some people are such grubs, this is the Auburn side our side is much cleaner.

This is the house nothing special guess what it sold for $898,000.00, it was very well renovated and had a separate granny flat at the back but still that's a lot of money, the land was average size for this area, and the house fibro.

Here my house it's cute but needs a few things done to it but I like it as is, so I won't be selling.

Words on Wednesday[Thursday] and other bits.

 The storm was wild and woolie but the two little field mice were warm and dry in their tunnels under the root of the huge oak tree but the rain would crawl up to the entrance and flood their cosy home if it didn't stop soon.
Tommy and Susan were their names and they had lived there a long time and had never seen so much rain before, they were a fearless couple but the river of water rushing past their front door on both sides of the tree had them worried.
Tommy let out a joyous yell, the sun was trying to shine and the rain had slowed to a light patter their would be safe now.

 The beer fairy has very cold feet so I saw these in Kmart the other day, I've seen children's ones but not big ones before, he thinks they are fun and they do keep his feet warm, so  I said do a modeling job and I will record it for ever and this is what he came up with, you never know what hidden talents  they have do you lets hope they stay hidden in his case.

 well that's enough of that.

 I built a path so I can peg out the washing without getting my feet wet, as I often do it in my slippers.

 Nothing happened with the ponds yet.

 I think that chicken follows me around and makes a mess when I leave a spot.

 My dragon moved into the Asian part of the garden.

 And this slightly broken bridge from when we owned a fish tank many years ago, I saw a lizard using it to cross the mighty river but wasn't quick enough to get him on film.

My kitchen, winter sunshine and a dead spider.

Kitchen clean up today, still got to do the tiles but the sun is shining outside, maybe wonder out for a few hours.

It's 11.30 soon the sun will go about 2.00pm it get very cold.  

This is what I spend time doing today,This is the mighty ''Almost Clyde River'', we were once in the suburb of Clyde such as it was, but they redivided the areas and when we elected last we were told that one side of our street was in one area and the other side in another.
Boo Peep was off to the hardware shop 'Bunnings' last week so I asked him to get me a big bag of blue metal all he heard was blue and turned up with blue stones in two little bags so I decided to make a river out of them, there is always a use for everything, but the crazy thing is this guy works in construction but did nor recognise blue metal they always call it gravel, That is what he tells me but as he is a male I think it's another case of selected deafness.

Leeroy knows it water see she doesn't's want to get her feet wet.

My poor huntsman died yesterday may be the cold killed him.
No words for Wednesday today we have had something go wrong in the family today so I will be offline for a few days.
