I should have been a brick layer.

My bricks are all laid, all one level now much easier to walk on, we are getting on in years need level areas not so much a tripping hazard, I do like working with bricks the old ones are interesting, I think one of them is a convick brick .

Only one step now and kidney and Leeroy can't crawl under the gate any more.

BoPeep gave me a snail so he has moved in with the fairies and their friends.

Now all I need is lots of rain at, once to see if the drain works.

  1. Yep, you have gotta think towards your old age and make your house safe. The drain looks very professional. Does it drain into your next door neighbour's place?

    1. Some of the bricks were already there had to follow the pattern or pull them all up so that was a easy choice.

    1. We don't have them here so I don't know much about squirrels but I 'm very surprised they eat tomatoes, I eat lots of tomatoes I guess I share that with them.

  14. The brick floor looks good! Can you tell me about 'convick' bricks?
Funny to think of you moving into spring just as I'm saying goodbye to summer!

    1. Most bricks have standard squares in the middle of them but I have one with a rough diamond sometimes these are convick bricks made by the convicks when Australia was first settled many years ago if they are they are very old.
