Missing eggs, found eggs all you need is a dogs nose.

I looked all week for Drummy's eggs but 10 minutes is all it took Angus to find them, can you see them they are under all that sugar cane scrap, she had made a hole and there were seven eggs in there plus two empty shells, Angus tax.
She was hanging around watching us but looking the other way.

A bit grotty they need a good wash.
Most mornings this little bloke wakes me up, if not her then Leeroy does the job.

She was tapping on the window but by the time I found the camera she had stopped.
Someone left the door open.

Nothing like a dust bath then go into the laundry and have a good shake.

My entry for this week.

"Words for wednesday".
She was the french queen but cared little about her adopted people.
They were starving but that didn't matter as long as she could continue her lavish lifestyle.
Now she was riding the devilish cart of death.
She had a panoramic view of her city on the way to madam guillotine.
She had various company sharing the same fate and a cheer went across the crowd as each head fell into the basket, not a good end but we reap what we sow.

  2. Love your words for wednesday. And the eggs. And at a week old, they are still a LOT fresher than those in the supermarkets.

  6. Mum loves your lead light window Merle and she loves your words for Wednesday again too. She reckons you've really got a talent for that stuff. If I'd have found those eggs I'd have eaten the lot. I love eggs ..... shells and all!!

    1. Angus tried but I was too fast for him, he left the shells, her shells are not very strong so they break very easy.
      Thank you mum for me.

    1. Spot on just a bit dirty.
Yes I do have a Aussie accent but so do a lot of other people here.
The chicken could come and watch TV with me if she had better toilet habits but she hopeless.

  10. Some kids would be horrified to see the muck on the eggs and learn where they come from.

  11. ... hi Merle ... Drummy is so funny the way she is possessive about her eggs... makes you work hard to find them. Wonderful job Angus, aka 'the nose' ...
I like your Wednesday words... great story...
