A afternoon in the sunshine.

Today is a lovely day warm but not to hot so we are all outside enjoying the last of spring before the heat hits later in the week.

The trees are thick with leaves so plenty of shade.

The beer fairy likes to check out all the christmas catalogs see if he can find a bargain, never does.
Drummy is sick of talking to him he not listening so she is off.

The deck is 6 pallets now .

The bar fridge was defrosted, it needs it once a year.

And I washed our carpet squares out, the deck is a good place to dry them.

  1. Your garden won't win an award in Vogue magazine but I love it. Beer Fairy is looking in catalogues for the most bestest Christmas present for his lovely wife.

    1. I't amazing how cool it is in summer and as the trees lose their leaves, winter is warm well most of the time.

  8. Beautiful shady spots you have there, great for the summers up your way - you mats look clean.

    1. They are the mats in the laundry and Drummys allowed in there, she likes to sit in the toilet when it rains but she is not to clean.

  9. I didn't know carpet squares could be washed, but the deck is the perfect place to dry them. Your garden has come through the winter remarkably well, it's so lush and green, love the shade.

    1. They are the industrial carpet squares, much harder but can be hosed down, it's a busy area and gets very dirty.

  14. Boy, you are really getting ready for summer and your garden looks beautiful. Drummy and B. Ferry look pleased with the outdoors, too.
I love all your trees. I just lost my only big tree so I'll have another sun garden but I did appreciate my shady rock garden on the hot summer days.

    1. We lost two trees this year one the builders next door hit a main root and the tree slowly died the other died within a few days the only thing that makes any sense was it was struck by lightning.
