Well I was inspired and should put a painting in next year in the Parramatta's Art Show this is what I done so far, what should I aim for I could do with a few ideas.
All your paintings are beautiful though I especially love the landscapes,and your wonderful use of colour reminds me of Margaret Olley (she's one of my favourite artists). So glad you're going to enter the Parramatta Art Prize next year! Cheers, Cheryl.
I can enter as many as I like but they are to have been painted in the last two years not sure why, some of these are much older than that. Merle............
This is hard. Some I like and some I don't, but some of the ones I don't like are quite good and some of the ones I like aren't so good. Give us some time.
I know what you are saying, it's the subject mater some artists are very good but what they paint doesn't appeal to me but they are still good paintings but not to my taste. I really like painting people but do not get a likeness very often but at least they now look human, my first efforts were a bit weid. Merle...........
That one was painted over 35years ago I think I was home with my baby daughter so it's not allowed too old, but can do a new one with boats. Merle..............
I am always in awe of your talent. It is truly, truly genius. Some of your landscapes are so beautiful in a misty sort of a way, that it brings tears to my eyes. You must favor one or some of your works. Which ones would that be? Your painting must bring you much peace and satisfaction.
Funny I don't like to sell them but sometimes do them for friends and family, it looks like the landscapes are more to everyone liking. Merle................

I like that one too but that's a family one and you have met the people, Joe likes that one too I will give it to him in the future. The boat one was done when I lived in the flats next to you so it's pretty old and has discoloured a bit gives it a bit of age. Merle..................

And some of these paintings reminded me of my own kids.........the bride reminded me of Jess getting married next year, the two girls with the red flowers and mother in the background holding her baby, and the neutral colors of the mother and her daughters. I like these very much, Merle. You are so talented, my friend.
The first one is Susie on her wedding day she looked beautiful and i loved her headgear very unusual. The the neutral colour one is my sister and my mum and me in Hyde Park Sydney taken from a photo taken many years ago. Merle..........

Do you have to choose just one? I like so many of them, but if I had to choose one, it would be that sailboat moored to the quay.

That first portrait is wonderrful...I like to see pretty ladies. And, because it is autumn here, I enjoyed seeing the home in fall.
