Busy week

I moved this chair into my lounge room for reading by the window.

Pulling out weeds by my birdbath gave me an idea maybe if I put seed in it the birds would stop stealing pidg's food.

This is our grape vine we are hoping for grapes this year, last year was a bit of a loss.

Not much wood left.

This is lunch and refreshment area, note coke cans and hand cream.

Also the front needed some weeding and new bark, a friend gave me a yellow rose if it takes it will look nice with the blue plumbago.

The front screen door had a makeover a few weeks ago as you see I keen on red at the moment.

New shoe holder.

And mat.

And light.

I also joined an art society and they sell paintings in a shop in Parramatta so  I was going to give it a try with these 3 paintings what do you think.

M & M came to visit and had a bath he quite likes them and he loves a brush.

It feels good to see change, doesn't it!
Hope the seed works in the birdbath..it sounds like a good idea to me.
I think you should do well if you put your paintings up for sale.
I'd buy one of your cottage pictures if I ever found it!!
And I love the new red touches too.
I have a hankering for red checked curtains at the moment, lol!

  3. Your yard is coming along nicely for your spring. The paintings are pretty and amazing! I have the same lamp (from ikea?) It is right here by my computer!

I had a good grape season for my one small vine, (we had a drought, and I hear grapes don't like alot of water) but eventually the birds sneaked in my netting and ate them all! I have to buy more netting next year and tack it down. love, andrea

    1. Hi Andrea
Maybe our grapes were no good because we had a lot of rain last spring and summer but never had a problem with the birds we have a pet wild pigeon (that spelling looks wrong ) and he has food out and the other wild birds help themselves but they leave other things alone worth a try you use the wild bird mix from the supermarket.Glad you like my paintings they are fun to do.
It is funny I can always find things in Ikea I like but I avoid the self assembly stuff now.
      Love Merle.....
