Not a lot, just a chat and flowers.

I lost a person for agers I've had 69 followers now I've got 68 how does that happen , once I had 70 but then back to 69 so I gathered that that person wasn't a stayer, I feel lonely and unloved.

Well anyway I'm off to the dentist again so I take my camera on the walk up there as it takes my mind off the dentist visit, but this time I should have taken a brolly as guess what it poured on the way home, ended up a bit damp.

These flowers are still looking good a few dead ones but not many.

And this is a mature dragon fruit tree, it had fruit last year will keep a eye out to see if there are any this year.

The house that goes with the tree as you can see they have a asian theme going on here.

Pricklie pear plant, strange flower set up.
Strange name for a street.
And my brommy flowers, they are so different.




That's it for me today, my mouth is a bit sore so a nap on the cards.

    Hi Merle! Don't feel lonely..followers come and go all the time..and it's no reflection on you..it's just what happens in the blogging world.
    The flowers are all wonderful shapes and colours! It's been drizzling here for a few days too..good for the garden.
    Hope your mouth feels better tomorrow :-( I hate going to the dentist!

    Trish is correct - don't be peeved... the other thing that happens is when the ether gets a bit wobbly and folk drop away. I had the very strange experience today of receiving notice that my father had added me to his google contacts.... as far as I knew he'd never removed me from them from the beginning!!!     In the early days of Facebook, in my family one that has couple of friends there too, a message went out, 'Andrew only has seven friends. Please add him if you know him'. It didn't work. Now I have 15 friends but only because more of the family has Facebook. I've never seen a dragon fruit tree before. Unusual.

      The dragon trees look like lots of other cacti, mine about 4" high at the moment must be slow growers will most likely never get fruit in my lifetime.

    Love your bromeliads. Quite different to the ones on my back deck.
    The dragon fruit tree - and its home are interesting. I hope it does fruit again this year. Red pulp or white?
    Your poor mouth. I hope dentist visits are now over.

    You are showing 69 followers to me....I have great trouble and can not add myself to anyone's 'follow' list, reason, I don't know why. Now I have said that I probably can now - Murphy's Law :)
    Hope your mouth is soon better.
    The flowers along the way do look nice..

    I love you Merle even though I don't get to visit very often. The same thing happens to me too. Infact I mostly get 0-5 comments and yet I have over 200 followers ????
    I have a dragon fruit plant in a pot,my Grandson gave me the cutting. It has 2 little sprouting pieces at the top. I hope it doesn't get as big as that one you photographed. Hate the dentist too. Can't thinkof a better reason to have a nap.:)

      I have one too and mine tiny, not done much for about 6months so I think they are very slow growing.

    I always nap straight after the dentist too, usually on the bus, then I wake up and get on the next bus and nap again until I get off near home.
    I like all your flower pictures today, your bromeliads are lovely.

      How far away is your dentist, mine in walking distance if I had to catch two buses I would never get there.

      If I see you on others comments I click on and that's they only way so sometimes I will be missing.
      Some people's posts come up in lumps of 5 to 10 different posts so the system is a bit odd at times or maybe me.

    The second picture is one of the most unusual flowers I've ever seen. They are peculiar but pretty at the same time. I'm glad you had your camera with you so you could take a pic of this interesting flower while you were walking to the dentist. We never know what we'll see in nature, lots of great stuff.
