Hot Hot Hot, cold too

The other day was very hot Leeroy lay here all day just moving every now and again it was37c at our place and 39c at Penrith so  so hot we are not ready for that much heat yet. and the cats were not happy but very sleepy.

Even this moth came inside to get away from the heat.

The next day a lot cooler, the beer fairy is into a jacket, but is still drinking ice cold water.
.
And Drummy is telling him a long story.
My Bogie is wonderful at the moment.

And the garden vegetables coming along nicely.

But this poor plant has seen better days.

My other bogie is not well at all, it's just sticks maybe time to retire this one.

Drummy's bed is getting lots's of growth around it that's because she likes to sleep elsewhere.
My maple is in full leaf now
And cool under the trees.
I ended up with a purple freezia.

I was so hot it knocked these plants around.

This is a chicken massage, he got his shoulders done he said it was very relaxing she doesn't do me, I'm not special.

  8. Bogies love the dry heat. Try cutting the 'sticks' one back to the base stump and wait six months or a year to see if it reshoots, give it a bucket of water now and again. First cut a couple of the sticks low down and see if there is any sign of green in them. Green means life; dry, brown, brittle means dead.
Angel has been sleeping through the heat too.
Thankfully today is cooler, we had rain overnight, a lovely soft constant drizzle that soaked right in.

  10. Merle, your pink flowering bush is so pretty. What a nice color. And I really like those soft pink flowers also. Drummy seems to be friendly to your husband. How delightful that she comes around and hangs out with people. Cute picture of Leeroy taking it easy in the hot hot weather that you're having. It's getting cooler here now that it's Autumn.
