This is the beer fairy and his niece, she took us out for a meal, we haven't seen her for a while so it was good to catch up on family gossip.
Plus it's nice to spend a afternoon wondering around in the sunshine.
The zoo is tiny and the peacocks are all resting
But the emu is still strutting around.
Not so the these fellows
or these.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday (belated) to the Lad.... looks like a fun day... is Featherdale your nearest animal park? YAM xx
Lovely day nice and peaceful and not much happening in the local area so nice and quiet.

Nice outing. I really like peacocks...
ReplyDeleteLast time we were in the park they were doing a fashion shot and the peacocks wanted to be in the photos, it was very interesting the peacocks were opening up their tails and posing all the time this time they couldn't be bothered posing at all.

Belated happy birthday from here too.
ReplyDeleteKangaroobies (and wallabies) relax better than anything I know (except a cat). I loved wandering with you - thank you.
Pleasure anytime, they are very good at relaxing.

The little zoo looks very nice. We were at your larger zoo yesterday. It was excellent but wow, the admission price!
ReplyDeleteHow much is it now, it's been 20 years or so since I've been there, and it was a fair bit then but this one down the road from us is only about $3 if there is a function on but most of the time it's free but of course only a fraction of the size.

Looks like you had a lovely relaxing day I love doing things like that.

ReplyDeleteBeer fairy thanks you, never have the peacocks been so lazy just after feeding time when we were there.

It sounds like you and had a nice birthday for your husband at the tennis club. Oh, look at the pretty peacocks, the emu, and those sweet kangaroos! I love zoo animals, and have been wanting to go to the zoo. The grounds look so green and groomed.

Love the peacock, but I am not a fan of their screams especially at night. Scary sounds in the dark...LOL.
