This is the fairy house, not bad for a log of wood with a branch out the side some paddle pop sticks and gutter guard mesh and a nought in a packet of numbers I had, the roof is a piece of plastic with some bubbly red stuff on it.
I used the other numbers for a sign for our wire screen door as it often shut but the big door is open because we need to get all the breezes we can.
The girls are having a chat outside as it's a nice warm afternoon, they need a table.
I bet only good fairies live in your garden

A evil one might make it more exciting but no all is calm.

That is a gorgeous little fairy house! Even a little garden around it already.
ReplyDeleteI like the screen door house number, my number isn't anywhere on my flat, so I stuck numerals on the side window by the door, by they're obscured now by a potplant, maybe something on my screen door would be a good idea.
I don't want the pizza guy to deliver to the wrong place.

Merle....Just wrote you a comment but I think it got lost. I think I pushed "Sign Out" instead of publish. Anyway, I wanted to tell you how ADORABLE your fairy house is. Oh oh oh oh oh. So creative and imaginative! Great job! Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteThanks, too, for all your visits to my posts. Susan
I often lose comments too, sometimes I ask a question and check back to see the answer and the comment is not there, it has happened a few times wonder where they go.

People have been showing their fairy gardens on blogs. I will have to think about a place to put one.
ReplyDeleteYou don't need much space.

Merle,
ReplyDeleteYour fairy house is fantastic! I've always wanted to make a fairy house. Maybe when I get my garden started, I'll do that. The toadstool and the rocks and the white wooden windows, and the fairy all make it so charming. You did a great job, Merle. I may come back and see this little house again. :~)
love, ~Sheri
I do like it too, so it will often be in my garden photos.

One of these days I am going to have a fairy house too... goodness knows I've "pinned" enough ideas to light a fire under my butt.... yours is super cute :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you it was fun to build.
DeleteMerle.......
That's a darling fairy house. I like yout repurposed items. Nothing like a bit of whimsy in the garden!
ReplyDeleteyour...of course!
DeleteI knew what you ment, I do that so much.

That's cute Merle, I love the toadstools. Fairy houses are so popular here, there are entire sections of retail greenhouses, and stores devoted to them. Amazing how fast they caught on.

I got the idea from a blog about 6months ago just waiting for a piece of wood that looked right, I have a log which would make a 2 story one but must save my paddle pop sticks, again
