Dogs cats chickens and bears.

The fruit mentioned in the last post were Achacha I got the name off the woolworths docket .they are $9.98 a kilo but it would take a lot to make a kilo.
Kidney has a new home, I cut my boganvilla back almost to the ground and kidney sleeps on the ground almost all day, now there is no prickles to worry about.
.

I 've been moving pot plants to beat the heat.
And replaced some of the pavers with small stones as the roots from the tree were lifting them and I was always tripping over them much safer now.
Tea bags for my fern, it does help.
Leeroy is hot normally she sleeps on my beds but the cement is good in hot weather.
Look at my poor grass the roofers parked on it but don't worry it will recover.
The front door is getting harder and harder to find.
but  Mal and Who like it out the front lots of shade and places to hide.
I know there is a chair in there somewhere.
Lots of weeding needed but just too hot yet.

My neighbours and the mighty Granville he is very camera shy, normally jumps up on the fence and  I get sloppy kisses but bring the camera out and off he goes.
 This guy is shy too.
but I did get a close up of Granville, using the zoom.
Remember the tree with the bears in it well they must have had a party and invited some friends, not sure if the multi coloured snake was invited, maybe he just gatecrashed.
 it's goodbye from Drummy.

  2. I love the teddies in the tree!!
I also like your very full front yard a lot, I like lots of plants all growing into each other, plenty of hiding places for birds and pets.
I've been moving pot plants too but I don't have much shade to move them to. I'll have to get up early and water in the cool of the morning.

  3. I googled the fruit. Very interesting and I would like to try it. You are smarter than us. When roots pushed up our paving up, we pulled them up, cut away the roots and relaid them. Your idea is much better.

  8. Granville is a handsome looking boy!
For all their love of heat, even cats have their limits...mine go into the shade thinking it will keep them cool...but they choose the warmest part of the house where there is shade!

  9. The party tree is a fine mystery. How clever to level your walk by removing part of it.
