It's 7am or thereabouts, Angus is visiting so that means no shut bedroom door because he tried to dig a hole under it if he want to go to the loo or if he just want to see what you are up, so you just get up and feed everyone.
First we all need a toilet break, I'm taking to long, this is a hurry up and feed me look.
The cats Kidney and Leeroy are first then Angus but Drummy wonders in to say hello to everyone.
Then out the front to feed the twins one is missing but she will come in soon we are a bit early this morning.
no faces much at this time everyone busy eating.
Leeroy is off exploring, the wild birds have had a few hours since dawn to eat Pidge's food as he goes flying early morning and we had 2days of constant rain so he wants his exercise so he may not come back till lunchtime today, so Leroy has lots of birds to chase away.
Of course everyone checks out the garden to see if anything has changed overnight.
It's not raining thats good at the moment as we had a bit lately but it's still overcast.
Everyone's fed but me and Angus is ignoring me looking towards the kitchen as if to say well go get your breakfast and I would like a bit too, so I will just run these photos on the blog and go and get my breckie.
Well off to the kitchen just toast and coffee today, no bacon left, see you later.

I miss my mornings with critters, thank you so much for sharing this with us,
ReplyDeleteThey are always fun in the mornings, most of the rest of the day is for sleeping except Drummy always on the move that one.
DeleteMerle............
I am sure the smells in the garden change overnight and require investigation every morning.
ReplyDeleteYou have a point.

Glad to see Drummy came in to check on everything :)
ReplyDeleteShe is a bit motherly and bossy.

I love that Drummy comes in to check on breakfast!

Her food has been inside for a few weeks because we have had rain and it gets damp but she always comes in as soon as the back door is open.

Chickens in the house! Cats on the roof! What a great post! I feel like I'm there, and it's a beautiful summer in Aus. :)
ReplyDeleteSure is but we had had a few very humid days that's not so good.
DeleteMerle...................
Lovely photos of your morning, lucky you getting to sleep until seven.
ReplyDeleteMy first twenty minutes are usually bleary eyed and stomping around grumbling that it's far too early and Angel better let me get some more sleep.
I love a garden in the early morning, all fresh and clean if it has been raining and still cool before the sun gets to it.
I often have cat naps in the afternoon that always helps.
DeleteMerle.............
You do have a busy morning with the cats, Drummy and Angus...everyone wants to eat and take care of their business.. Wishing you a happy day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteYou too.
