Well everything is working now, I've had so much trouble with the internet and my house phone, I lost all my pictures I had taken so I took a few today of any changes, my little mate Angus is staying for a few weeks while his mum and dad are in America, time with Merle and the beer fairy is always good he reckons and there are plenty of furry and feather playmates too. Drummy's rooftop garden has really taken off but she sleeps outside in the warm weather, her little house is not being used much.
Hiding from Angus he does get a bit playful sometimes.
He eats all leftovers he finds.
These two little fellows I found the other day while out shopping with my son and daughter in law, just had to bring them home.
Most of the tree is shredded but a bit left to be done.
and the back yard is all cleaned up, the roof will be fixed in the beginning of February so no more leaks hopefully.
done more of my jigsaw hoping to finish by the end of the week, not sure maybe lost a few bits.
a new mat not the one I thought I bought but it's growing on me.
My friend gave me a unusual doll, I do rather like her she has personality.
Hi Merle.... glad to see you back on line..
ReplyDeleteI like the new little critters in your garden ......
Have fun with Angus...... See you soon...
Hugs .... Barb xxx

ReplyDeleteWelcome back - missed you!!! Sometimes good to have a break though - may have been 'the powers' ensuring you did that (that's the excuse I used when the same happened to me and I'm sticking to it!) Hope you are staying reasonably comfy this summer - as I type to you middle of the day it is -2'C outside my window - and not much higher inside!!! YAM xx
-2 brurr that is very cold, it's a sunny 28c here at the moment.

Wheelbarrow daisies--I like them. Glad to hear from you again, and to see the sweet little dog.
ReplyDeleteI have two wheelbarrows both have holes so I will have twins soon.

lots going on at your house, I love the lushness of your garden, I bet Angus loves coming to your house, that doll looks sort of like a mime, from Paris, the eyes are great! I hope all your phone and compute troubles are behind you, that is a beautiful puzzle, it looks like your style of painting, its beautiful,
ReplyDeleteThat jigsaw is starting to look too ordinary maybe I've been looking at it to long.
DeleteMerle.................
Hello Merle, I am glad your internet is working again... I love the cute Angus and Drummy.. Your garden is looking lush and beautiful, I love all the green. We have snow and all the trees are brown.. I can not wait till spring.. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteFunny I'm looking forward to winter too hot at the moment.
DeleteMerle.............
Welcome back. Loving your jungle and your animals and your ornaments...
ReplyDeleteThank you good to be back.
DeleteMerle.............
Hope everything stays fixed now, maybe the interference was due to NBN cable being laid somewhere nearby.
ReplyDeleteHow do you leave a jigsaw on the table without the cats messing it up and stealing pieces?
I love the little solar bird and snail.
The energy company have been working a lot in our area lately maybe they did something as my neighbours have had phone problems too.
DeleteI'm amazed the cats haven't done something to the puzzle too.
The little solar lights work too often they don't.
merle.............
Nice to see what's happening at your place again, Merle :-)
ReplyDeleteNever a dull moment, eh!
I love that garden jigsaw...you're going to have it finished in no time.
Your yard always looks so lush and cool. I love it!
Have a good week with Angus.

I like the mat and the jigsaw picture. Lost a few bits indeed. I remember saying that more than once and there was never anything lost. The doll is very unusual. It looks expensive.
ReplyDeleteMaybe lost some bits that would explain a lot.
DeleteShe does look expensive.
Merle..........
I wouldn't mind being boarded at your ranch for a while, M!

Wow, you're almost done with the jigsaw puzzle, Merle. I haven't put one together in years, but I used to love to do those jigsaws. The doll is a nice gift from your friend. I'm glad that everything is working in your house now. It can be frustrating when things are shut off, broken, or need fixing. It's always a delight to see Drummy, and I love this picture.

Maybe if the internet was working I wouldn't have got so much it done.
ReplyDeleteMerle..........
I love the photo of Kidney drinking from the birdbath - and that blue wheelbarrow filled with flowers is stunning! And that looks like a HUGE jigsaw puzzle - they're so much fun, aren't they? So sorry to hear about your internet/computer woes. I don't know which makes me feel more stressed - when my car is in the shop or my computer is down. In any case, you have a great day!!! Thanks for your sweet comments on my birds - they are so much fun to watch!

My cats all like rainwater they will drink from all containers they find and ignoring all the tap water if the rainwater is available guess it tastes better.
DeleteSix weeks so far to do the puzzle but almost finished now.
merle..........
I love your photos SO MUCH that you'd think I'd start carrying my camera with me. But I never "see" a good photo opportunity. Then I come here and find out that everything is a good photo opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI have only taken photos two years now never did before much only when people wanted me to take one of them, they were always disappointed cut bits off often parts of the head.
DeleteBut these days just take photos with my point and shoot and I have no photoshop to fix them up so maybe I've improved so it's just have a go you never know what you will end up with.
Merle...............
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your patio Merle!
ReplyDeleteI have to remember that you're in the middle of summer now - but everything is soooo green and lush!!
Glad you have your internet up and running!! so sorry to hear that you lost so many of your photos!! My husband is awesome --- he downloads everything once a month onto an external harddrive-- just in case!!
