Hot hot hot but cooler at home.

I bought two avocado's and the beer fairy doesn't eat them so I will have to have them for breakfast for a few days, they lasted for 3 days so I'm taking food pictures lately, and Leeroy pictures too.

A blueberry milkshake maybe I should have put some sugar in but more healthy this way.
Leeroy is dreaming, she was making grunting sounds and pawing the air wonder what she is dreaming about.
We are awake now and not happy I'm getting the evil eye, the yellow one.
I have a new gazebo but it's not too good so the streets umbrella is supporting it, well it is providing some shade to the back garden lots of growth up there but it gets super hot in the middle of summer and all will burn if no shade at all.

There once was a tree but it died, we believe it was struck by lightning as it was completely brown in 24 hours and never recovered, this is the stump.
Lots of greenery and lots cooler in summer

But as you can see the middle bit is not right.

All the new things I've planted out are going ok all from cuttings.

I repainted my fancy bird cage it needs to be done every few years.
Of course it has a fake bird in it, I don't like birds in cages and the only pet bird we have is Pidge and he is free to come and go as he likes, I think he had a fight with the girlfriend she has not been around for a while now.
All I can say is it's super hot here, I usually enjoy summer but this year not so much.

  1. It's getting super hot here too, not bad today, but a stinker yesterday and another one tomorrow and I have appointments to keep so can't stay home. I think I'll try to rig up an umbrella or something to shade the cuttings on my front porch.

And I can't get enough water on the garden (water restrictions).

  4. I enjoy all the food pictures (making me hungry now before breakfast) and I always love looking at your lovely gardens. I could use a little of your "hot" right now. I'm really weary of below zero weather. It's been going on for over a month, now and the snow is so deep that I struggled reaching my old pick-up. Hahaha

  6. Your garden always looks so cool. Better that the tree was struck by lightning than your house.

  9. I know avocados are really good if they are JUST RIGHT. I still haven't figured out how to get ones that are fresh but not too early.
