My Weekend

A warm clear day nothing better than watching someone else work, this is Hester's lumberjack up a tree and cutting off branches for my daughter he popped around after work to work on her trees.
This is a white cedar, it didn't look strong enough to hold him but all went well.

This was another great tool a saw with a extendable handle he made it look easy bet it's not.
One little pidge on the railway station,  he did well out of me he ended up with a quarter of my lunch after we were finished his mates turned up they were just to late.
Called in to see my friend and her mum
The next day was Sunday and the two from Qld will be here in a few days.
Time to clean up the shed, the son and daughter in law would like to store some things in the shed so a bit of a clean and sort out will help find some room.
This is a place I try hard to avoid as much as possible.
It sure is a mess better from a distance.
Two hours in and I see the floor.
All my sons stuff he can sort it out when he gets here.

    1. Because I don't like heights I always feel a bit funny watching someone up a tree cutting with a chain saw.

  2. WOW that's a lot of stuff! I also love to watch the tree guys climb with nothing but a bit of rope and a chainsaw.

  3. I am always in awe watching the tree boys at work. And a bit anxious.
Our shed looks like that too often. Good luck.

  4. White cedar trees can harbour borers so it was good the tree blokes pruned it. Your shed looks very tidy compared to ours but my husband seems to know where everything is, which always amazes me.

    1. A lot of that stuff belongs to my son and he has lots in the house he just sold too, guess where that will end up.

Can't see the floor in my dad's garage either - but he won't let us even do this much tidying! Good work... consider it an early spring clean - sounds much better than shed sorting! YAM xx

    1. The beer fairy doesn't mind now as a lot of the stuff isn't his but he once looked after it himself, that involved taking it outside and cleaning it very well but it took days, then he put it all back again nothing was ever thrown out.

  9. I don't envy the tree man's job or yours in sorting part of the shed. I hate jobs like that.
