Wet clothes wet woes

What can I say wet clothes in the dinning room, my socks drying on the table well at least they are clean, well been through the washing machine.
But did get my second path done, does stop the boggy bit in the back yard.
The garden is loving all this rain.
me not so much.

All seeds Drummy or Pidge drop sprout, even got green shoots inside the back door  but al least the wood is dry so we can have a inside fire tonight.
,

Maybe get the clothes dry.
Leeroy is in her favourite spot and Kidney is in bed with the beer fairy, both sound asleep.
Not much to do in this sort of weather.
The photo is a bit blurry but I've never seen so many doves on my neighbours roof before, this was a few days ago before the rains hit.

  1. Crikey Merle .... Where's it all coming from? You poor things .... Sydney has sure copped it's fair share of rain this winter, aye. I hope you get those clothes dry. I doubt it'll happen tonight. We've been inundated up here too. At least our tanks are full.

  2. Wet here today too. Mind you, I prefer rain to drought. And the cats have hogged ALL of the comfortable spots...

  3. I think you have one towel a bit too close to the fire there, please be careful. I'm enjoying what rain we get so far, but I think I might get sick of it a bit by September. That's usually when I want to be out there planting things.

    1. I moved it when I lit the fire.
I'm happy with the rain too but have found that we will have to replace the gutters very soon.

  4. Hello Merle, your garden is looking very lush! Cute shots of Drummy and Leeroy. I guess the rain is better than a drought. Have a happy day and new week ahead!

  5. Wow it sure is wet! Take care not to mark your pretty wood table with those wet socks.

Here it is sunny and warm and summertime. I am inside though as I have just had surgery a bit over a week ago.

    1. The wood table is something we bought just after we were married and nothing marks it, it wonderful but the coffee table is another story everything leaves marks on it.
Hope you are feeling better now, the sun always helps.

  9. Wet leaves on the ground is how Melbourne is at the moment, but add in dreary grey skies and drizzle, hour after hour.

  11. I smiled when I saw the wet clothes hanging up because sometimes I put wet clothes across the tables and chairs to dry. :) Oh my, look at all those doves on your neighbor's roof - what a sight! They are one of my favorite birds for sure.

    1. She was feeding all the doves and I think she has gone away for a few days so they were waiting for dinner, but don't worry they come and eat Pidges and Drummy food so they will still get a feed.

    1. I have all different socks so I can figure out the pairs easily but a friend of mine has all black ones because he doesn't care about pairs.
