A blanket and bra basket and maybe putting in the ponds.

Do you have a bra and blanket basket they are wonderful, you know when you are dozing in the lounge after dinner and you just need to whip off the bra and relax and blankets well can never have too many of those but mine stay on the lounge at the moment it's getting cold at night.
and I getting old a chair in the bathroom is handy these days, I remember my aunts place as a child she had a chair in her bathroom I could never figure out why well I know now.
The next step is to whip out the spa and put in a big shower unit but we are not that old yet.
The next garden project put in the ponds and pretty up Drummy old yard and cut down all the sugar cane and bamboo, it's nice and cool in summer but as this is where the cloths line is it's needs sunshine in winter and is a bit of a mess at the moment.
So far cut down the sugar cane.
The Barbeque is also in this area, needs a good clean and the door fell off for some reason.

This house was once a huge shed with no windows but the new owners turned it into another house which they now rent out, housing is short in Sydney and very expensive, so it's worth it, I have lots of trees so it not too bad but next door has only a small backyard and these windows look straight into their backyard, a real lack of privacy.
Will clean it out tomorrow.
Drummy helps, she had 5 snails, odd other bugs she found, good dinner.
we can see the back neighbours, they will have to behave themselves they are hidden all summer.
The beer fair is busy too cutting wood to fit the fire box and taking the nails out.
But guess what no one can find the axe to cut chips, hope it's not too cold tonight.

  1. Crikey Merle ..... Mum knows all about that getting comfy and whipping the old bra off but she doesn't have a bra basket. She just throws it on the floor. She's got a chair in the bathroom too and like you used to wonder why people had 'em there. Age catches up with everyone, aye?? Looks like Drummy's back in the good books and it's good to see you're keeping the beer fairy busy.

    1. Bra's are horrible things, pity men don't have boobs then we wouldn't wear them they would. I don't blame for throwing on the floor but when I am very messy we get visitors.
Age sure catches up with everyone.
      better than being dead .

  3. Oooh ponds. Some day I will get them.
My bra stays on. No dozing either. I am either up, or not. I do like the idea of a bra basket though. Thinking, thinking, thinking.

  6. Hi Merle, I always know where to come for a bit of fun! Love the bra basket - it would also make a nice conversation starter. Looks like some good autumn cleanup is happening there. Hope the neighbors behave until spring! xo Karen

  7. My sister told us she takes her bra off in the evening when there is just Bone Doctor and Little Jo there, but I don't think she has a basket for them. If someone unexpectedly came to the door, like a Moslem woman might cover her face, would you rush to get your bra on before opening the door? Best to keep it on when outside with neighbours able to have a good perve.

..I do my best not to have to put one of the darned things on! I had one of those pond arrangements at Asquith for a while... quite a bit of ongoing maintenance required to keep the pump running and the water clean. Loved the sound of it though...YAM xx

    1. I had one before when I had dogs, I would often come home and here they were sitting in the pond on hot days, it was never clean but the dogs were very fond of it.

  9. Hi Merle, I like the cute pond and the sound of water. It is nice of Drummy to help clean. Those baskets come in handy for a lot of stuff. Enjoy your day!

  11. I don't have a bra basket, never even thought of such a thing. If I had one I'm sure I'd get up each morning and find Angel sleeping in it, with the bras covered in cat hair. Same with blankets. I used to keep a couple on the couch each winter ready for wrapping up in, now I can't because of all the cat hair. :(
I like your ponds and would love to see pictures when they are installed and filled with water.

    1. None of my cats lay on clothes but they do piddle in shoes so they are always put away and I try to keep everything in the right place they are very fussy but do respect tidy well sort of plus with 4 you learn to live with cat hair.
It might be a while before I do the ponds, at the moment it's just to to cold to play in water.

  14. ... Hi Merle... I don't have a bra basket, I just put my discarded clothing bits in the cupboard next to my lounge chair... LOL.....
The winter can be awkward for drying clothes... I often finish things off inside in front of the heaters...

  15. Awww, I don't think you're that old but it's a good idea to have a chair in the bathroom if you can fit it. Good place to stack clean clothes and a towel. :)
