A week in the sun and Visiting friends.

Lovely week lots of sunshine.
Spent a couple of days cleaning up the backyard emptying out water from containers and pot plants all over the place, sweeping paths of dead soggy leaves and washing.
New plants coming they must think it's a early spring we haven't had winter yet.

But will protect from Drummy she likes new shoots but thats another story and I'm not talking to her at the moment.
No more room on the clothesline socks go on the back of chairs.

And not  a cat on a lounge anywhere all missing.

It's Friday and off to visit friends at we had fresh make scones and different jams, very nice.
If you look closely you can see the cook in the background, why do men make better scones than a lot of women, the beer fairy makes mine too.
Off to my daughters on friday night to visit Angus and catch up on some tv shows and eat lovely pizza.
Angus wants some too.

Then on saturday catching up with a old friend.
It's been a few years since we have been to the old neighbourhood, a few changes.
And look here is Leeroy sleeping in the sun on my seat.

We have wind here. And fleeting sunshine. Very fleeting. No rain though. As usual.

    1. When I had three big dogs they only came in when it was raining and my special girl who was a huge german shepard always wanted to sit on my lap, ok in winter but not so in summer.

Hahahha, like Charlie, I was eyeing up some of those comfy seats!!! What a lovely round of visiting too.... as to the scones? My theory is that men always cook best what they like to eat! YAM xx

    1. I always wanted a chesterfield but I sat in one it was not very comfy and hot in summer and cold in winter so I went for something much more softer and cosy.
As for cooking the beer fairy cooks two or three times a week, some things are great others not so.

  7. Quite a social week for you by the sound of it. Yes, you are going to have to tell us about Drummy's naughtiness.

  8. Lovely to see new shoots poking through, even a tiny bit of sunshine warms the soil enough sometimes.
Lovely to catch up with others and eat scones. I may make a batch myself, haven't had any in yonks.
Your house looks so lovely and dust free! I've ignored mine for two days (only two days!) and the dust and cat hair/fluff is so thick, like a blanket :(

    1. Only rule I have when hubby is cooking is stay out of the kitchen, less friction that way.
