Visitors and pulling down houses.

I have a friend and my son staying so the cats are banned from the spare rooms at the moment as they like to let anyone know who stays here that they are the boss and have a habit of piddling on their luggage so we keep the doors shut and that solves all the problems.  I'm on the computer in the loungeroom so they are keeping me company.

Who having a good stretch out the front.

Drummy house has been moved to its permanent location in the enclosed area, she has been in it as she has got dirt on the deck already.
And I was going out the front to take a photo of the house on the corner but the cops are out the front booking someone so best wait till they go.
If you look closely you can see the top of the roof, this house is three houses down from me and they are pulling it down but leaving the frame it will be two story when finished.
This little spider web in the back yard was down overnight, I think it's a web spider and this is for catching insects.
This is all that is left of the house they have removed the internal walls too.
Next door is just about finished, the fence was built yesterday, inside is all finished all it needs now is a garden.
Let us hope it gets one they don't just cement in the front area.
I just noticed they have a new outdoor loo the last one was blue, so maybe the inside is not finished yet.

  1. How nice to hear that someone else's cats defile visitors' luggage. And ours were quick too. It didn't matter how often I warned people to leave their doors shut, Medlyn would find a way. And he was known in the household as 'bucket bladder'.

  7. Down with the old and up with the new!! At least they are still building new homes in your neighborhood!! We have several old homes on my street that need to come down. I'm sure you have been inside the new house as they built it!! We love to go out and walk through new homes being built and see what the house flow is and where they put everything.

  8. There's a lot going on in your neighborhood! That's a good thing though:) When my in-laws were packing to come and visit us last year, their dog started to dry heave over their luggage but my MIL was able to catch him in time!

  11. Your kitties are so cute! I assume they are good company while you are on the computer. My dog usually lays by my feet. Drummy has a nice place there. It is nice that your neighborhood is having new houses built, it is a good sign. Enjoy your week ahead. BTW, thank you for the visit and comment.

  12. I was gonna say the cat would be welcome in the spare room if I came to stay for a bit... but then I read about the piddle and decided against making the offer. :)

  14. Hi Merle :) Oh no, piddlers, LOL. You're fur babies are precious. We've had a few piddlers over the years. We have a female that sprays, yes she sprays! I never knew the girls could do that. Luckily she doesn't spray indoors. I love them all and each one of their personalities.
Home renovations I see. How nice for someone. I hope you get good neighbors moving in them.
Beware the spiders. We get the huge garden spiders over here that spin their webs around the house and yard. Gotta be careful not to walk into one.

    1. Nothing worse than walking into a spider web in the middle of the night, I remember the beer fairy coming into the house at night many years ago taking off all his clothes [I was wondering what was coming next] but he had walked into a web and was worried that a spider had relocated to him,

  15. The new next door is almost as fabulous as Drumstick's new home. Will she lay eggs in there or continue to lay in the garden? Have you put straw in for a nest?

  17. Your Asian garden reminds me of my parent's front yard, where in the corner I had made a little "rock garden" where I would put rocks from different places we went. Later my younger sister insisted that we put Cactus there and that Cactus grew big. It is a good idea to mix and match different plants and different kinds of rocks and little garden ornaments. Thanks for sharing.
