Shoes and back in the garden.

This room was once painted red it's now grey but I still like my red.
My everyday shoes are here.
My wet ones here, we had a lot of rain lately, my good shoes are hidden away and never see the light of day.
Water Water everywhere.
This washing will never be dry.
The ferns like the big wet.
Not so the spiders, there is a spider inside this leaf in the middle of the walkway with webs attached on both sides, it's his little waterproof house.
Some herbs have died and some thrived.

This creeping charlie is creeping everywhere.
Most thing are doing well

Even pumpkins are shooting
And the vegs I planted the other day are doing well, the mesh is to keep drumstick from digging them out.

There is a fence in here somewhere, but while things grow over it I don't have to paint it.

Next door is close to being finished, the porta loo is gone and no activity for a while, so should get neighbours soon.
The corner house has more or less gone and these two brick towers have been built, this is a slow process so far, I think maybe a owner builder.
And my bush orchiards are flowering.

  1. What a clever little spider to build a leaf shelter!
I like your creeping charlie, I'm going to look for one next time I'm at the nursery.
The corner house has an interesting new start with the brick pillars.

    1. We have rain shy spiders around here.
I think the corner house might be very odd.

Looking lush!! the red and grey work really well together...as a Hindu, all shoes are left outside, slippers or just feet inside and there was a bit of fun recently helping my father understand this...heheheh buying him a pricey pair of 'house shoes' has solved that one! Hope you get decent neighbours. Happy weekend. YAM xx

  4. The rain is working its magic here too. Bliss.
And I am very impressed with your shoe collection. I tend to wear the same ones - until they die. And, if I am truthful, for a while after they are deceased.
Love, love, love your garden. An oasis of beauty.

  5. Your room looks so lovely with all the bright light and red accessories:) We're heading into our rainy season here in FL but I live in flip flops. It does result in wet feet a lot but they're so comfy:)

  16. You have been very busy! I think it would be helpful to have a husband off visiting the relatives in order to get something done. When it gets wet in the basement my cat gets skitzy and is liable to do anything. Drives me bonkers. At least, the plants are lush and happy even if the laundry will never dry.
