The waterfalls and the Dingo beach

This is the third post about my holiday.
We found this little waterfall and swimming hole tucked away on a longish gravel road over a little bridge with water flowing over it but what a pretty place so worth the slightly hairy drive.

It was popular with the locals, the older couple told us their life story, the younger ones are their children and swam here as children.
This is dingo beach as you can see the weather is turning bad again this bay was alive with tiny crabs, they were everywhere.

This is such a pretty place.
lots of trees they grow right down to the shore

by the time we got back to town the rain was coming down so we now have very fashionable rain attire.
Dee and I are matching in blue
With my new sunglasses.

  5. Love the sunglasses. Very charming. WOW... the pictures of the waterfall kept me staring at it. A real treasure. Beaches are OK but I'm more a fan of small bodies of water and the all exciting waterfall. Your pictures are always lovely. Much enjoyment.

    1. You are lucky I didn't take a picture of the big german girl in the very small g string swimming outfit, she was a bit angry looking so I stayed well away.

  10. Oh how cooling that waterfall and rain looked. I needed that after sweltering in this intolerable heat wave we are having. So pleased you enjoyed your holiday. I'm going over to your previous posts to catch up,as I haven't been on here much lately. Beautiful place I should think to visit.

    1. We had to move on pretty quick as the creek we had to cross was swelling and was just flowing over the bridge I would have liked a swim but didn't want to chance it.
