Living in Lockdown and potting in the garden.

Today I am having a bit of a rave about c19 everyone else is talking about it non stop it kills old people everything kills old people we are all on our last legs and we know it why they want to go on cruises with a lot of other old people I am at a loss maybe it is expected and everyone says go on a trip spend your money before you die. I've been on a few trips enjoyed them but that was a while back when i had more energy now it is a bit of a effort to wander over to Woolies and carry the shopping home but I'm still doing it,  good exercise.

I was listening to the radio this morning Allan Jones of all people it was his turn I change it every few days to get a variety of music and different opinions, normally he is ranting and raving about things that matter to him but today he made sense. He didn't last long the next day it was about how good he was so back to ABC radio. Anyway given up in watching the news on tele just get radio reports now.

I will be glad when everything is back to normal again am missing visits to the shops and usually catch up with my mate Barbara most weeks everything is out of the question but buying food and supplies and a walk around the block.

Bow peep who now lives on a farm 5 hours down south of Sydney had to get a day pass to travel up to Sydney, you need to explain where you are going and why and are only allowed to go if it is considered you have a valid reason, but I guess it is all for the best.

It was a dropping week last week first this pot but I do like it so glued it back together  looks ok from one side but the other side is a bit rough  so that side will face the wall.

One of the fairy houses needed a new roof paddle pop sticks did the job, and a new paint job.

The other one just a paint job on it's roof it's a log of wood so no real damage ever happens to it.

A rearrange in the fairy garden and a general tidy up.

the asian garden is very small these days a few breakages over the years.

My fairies are just to big for the houses I will have to make a bigger one I will let you know how I go with that .

Just passing time......

Well I run out of things to talk about  I have not dune much in the garden but weeding and tiding up but I have been painting a bit but only finished off the two top ones  no shopping no visits or visitors but staying home and it's not all that easy on the internet lately everything is much slower i started to paint my window frames but we had afternoon showers a lot lately so thats come to a standstill to but I  did name all my pictures this one is "Watching the Birds".

 Tomorrow I should be going to New Zealand but that is not happening because of all the travel restrictions and it is better to stay home as requested by our government. My daughter had some photos of the family done these are very up to date ones they have grown so much. Until things change I will have to do with the photos .

Internet problems and no trip to NZ

This is Granville our neighbours dog he was away for 2 weeks visiting his parents in Perth, the beer fairy would walk him every evening and sometimes he would spend some of the day in our side yard checking out TomTom they would stay on different sides of the gate and stare at each other.

Must be exciting for both of them.

The garden is doing so well.

Lots of herbs.

And trouble with my internet and home phone all sorted out now but it took about 5 weeks that's why I have been missing for so long.

My poney tail palm grew another middle I knocked the top off a while back while moving it.

everything is going well except the muldberry tree it is very confused  it keeps producing berries because of the changeable weather.

This fellow was having a feed on the rose bushes down the road, wonderful colours.  I was going to New Zealand at the end of March but unable to go now so I won't see the grandchildren for another 6 months so disappointing.

Hot, cold and wet weather, painting pictures and a naughty cat.

We had a few rainy days most of the fires are out only the ones down near the Victorian border are still going and they are pretty much under control but I've spent more time inside so started a few new paintings,

Is a bit on the cold side at the moment last week we had just one day at 110f I think that is about 45c and since then cool and today cold, so not so bad painting a fire, this one is called "cosy toes ", I have been going to put some in the gallery to see if I  can sell them but all the ones I  already have are not on the right boards  they have to be a certain thickness but they are not going to good at the moment.

Tom Tom is not popular at the moment I was defrosting some steak for tea but he thought it was a good idea to eat it  but couldn't finish it but got through half and we had to go buy a chicken for our tea there will be no more defrosting on the kitchen bench.

The second one is started

There was a break in the rain this afternoon  so just time for a few quick photos outside.

The strong man I found in the shed needed a shower I  think he was enjoying the rain.

We got half way through the mulching before the rains started now all wet and soggy but will get back to it when it clears up.

my herbs are now doing well

and the lemon tree looks better it was close to death
