A day out in the sunshine.

On Friday we went to the Cherry flower festival just down the road.
The cherry trees are missing off my camera I must have deleted them.

Wallabies sleeping in the shade.

The emu and peacock are having a chat.
Checking out the animals, Clem is delighted but Wilbur takes everything very seriously.
He is grinning here.

I found one cherry tree I was sure I took more photos of the trees but nowhere to be found.
These fellows were not impressed with all the people

They stood on top of the hill and honked a lot .

but as no-one moved on they headed off to the water and all ended up on a island in the lake.

All eyes on these two lots to see.

Happy little cherubs they look like they are driving a Mac truck.

I'm not sure if they are sharing or taking.
The other day while waiting at the checkout to pay for the shopping Clem helped herself to the chips on the counters just within their reach but she was considerate she pinched one for her brother too, lucky they couldn't open them as they were spicy ones but we paid for them and took them home they were amusing toys for a while.

  2. They are such beautiful babes - whether they are serious or smiling.
Clem is less of a thief than I was. When I was a little older than her I helped myself to the contents of the till, stuffing it into my jacket pocket. My mother didn't realise till we got home and had an embarassing trip back to the store.

    1. My son was a bit light fingered as a baby I always had to check his pram for anything that took his fancy but supermarkets alway have lollies and chips in easy reach.
Your poor mum guess you were not popular for a day or two.

It looks like a fabulous day out, but a shame you lost the cherry tree photos. There's always next year.

  5. Can't you just see them getting older and developing into individuals. They are not going to remember the great outing, but it will become part of their makeup.

  10. What a fun day at the cherry flower festival. The babies are so cute, and it looks like they had a great time. Their little faces are precious, and I can imagine them being very close growing up and protecting one another. The cherry blossom tree is so pretty. There are lots of them in my town around Spring.

    Happy September days, Merle.

    love, ~Sheri
