Cats, clocks and a chicken who is addicted to elastic bands.

While cleaning up I found these photos
They are old pictures of my cats, the grey Gargy is no longer with us but the ginger Kidney still lives and she is just as cranky as ever, but she did get on with Gargy, they often cuddled up in cooler weather.

These are Kidneys kittens.
Leroy the tabby is still here all the others were given away.

Sleepy times.

Leroy then and now, not much change at all, cats age well.

It's hard to cuddle this chook .

The beer fairy's clock, it's made of brass and needs a clean but it has a magnified face but you must look straight on to read it.

Side views are just a bubble.
The one that tells the time about $3 in a junk shop, it's very good at keeping time and easy to see.
 My clock.
This one is from New Zealand it's in the craft room so it get looked at the most.
 Bathroom clock
And the one in the kitchen, took me agers to figure out the time with this one.

but now I have a clock on my new microwave it's the only digital one in the house.

 Morning tea time.
I found Angus's kong it was behind the cupboard in the laundry it had fallen down behind it about 5 years ago.
Drummy was keeping me company as I was going through drawers from the laundry, there were lots of odds and ends in them and I threw out lots of elastic bands that had been in the drawer for ages, they were falling apart and in a plastic bag waiting for the rubbish.
I went inside to make coffee and came back to Drummy munching on them she had no ill effects from her feed but now if she finds a plastic bag she checks it right out to see if there are any more, I surpose she thinks they are worms maybe not very tasty ones.

Green grubs were all eaten by Drummy.

The beer fair is much better now, he had brain scans the other day no results yet but no more blackouts, but I said no-one can call you a brainless twit now, as you have proof of a brain it didn't go over too well but he did laugh.

Sleeping cats they are everywhere but the twins are off somewhere no where to be seen.

 More pictures of Kidneys kids.

    1. The kitchen clock does confuse visitors, I want a chiming clock but someone else who lives here doesn't like noisy clocks.

  4. I am a sucker for cat and kitten photos. The beer fairy looks better - but still a bit battered. He really did some damage didn't he? I hope he continues to heal well.
We have a cat with a passion for laccy bands. I have to hide them from her. I can't think they would be good for her digestion.

    1. It's the beer fairy's clock but he hates the ticking so that's why it's in the kitchen, it's a bit noisy.

  10. Love all the pics of your kittens - and your clocks. Love clocks too. Sorry to hear the brainless twit (joke) is having black-outs. That's terrible!

  11. I didn't know Kidney had once had babies, they're very cute. Leroy has more orange than I'd previously thought, it doesn't always show, so I thought he was mostly grey.
Nice to see the beer fairy looking much better, hope the brain scans show nothing is wrong.
I'd worry about Drummy eating rubber bands, she might start laying eggs that bounce!
