Fur and feathers a day with my pets

I am working in the garden today, 24c today clear blue skies and gentle sunshine, I wondered what my furry friends did all day not very much, the sun was shinning on this bare earth all morning so these two moved in to soak up the trapped heat, this is Drummys digging area.
They both blend in with the earth colour.
Life is lazy.
OH dear what was that, now I'M awake
but nothing disturbs Kidney
well time to dose off again
I'm a bit hungary maybe I will get up

The front has a sleeping puss too.
Lunch
I'm a messy eater
Pidge is in the garden today not out flying, I can hear crows he never goes out if they are around.
See that tail sticking up in my broms, she is not allowed in there
Leeroy heading off for lunch
and naughty chicken got into trouble
go away i'm resting is that not a evil look
If she could talk she would be saying "kiss my arse"

I lifted a log so she could eat the slayers and snails
Well thanks mum that was a nice little treat
Whoie and Mal are saying hello

It's almost tea time so they are letting me know that in case I had forgotten.

All fed and time for a nap, both have the same idea
Pidge is thinking well this lot are boring all they do is sleep, except me and to tell the truth maybe it's time for a nanny nap.

    1. Drummy is snobby for a chicken but she is the only one I have known, Pidge is often out flying but always home at nighttime.

    1. As long as you live with a animal lover you have it made but being a cat if you weren't treated right you would just leave and find another home.

  9. I love looking at your pictures of your garden and all the plants as they live in harmony with the animals of your household. I'm trying to achieve the same thing but it is a lot of work at this point. Caring for all the potted plants must keep you very busy. Do you have to water them by hand or do you have enough rain. It is usually very dry here and I have to get the drip system installed. Beautiful photos.

    1. Mostly they live on rain, but I use a breakdown washing powder and use all my grey water from the washing on the garden.
Lately I been watering as it been very dry.
