LOOKING FOR FLOWERS AND TALKING TO THE NEIGHBOURS

Well I was going to take photos of the doves fighting over Pidges food but every time I go and get the camera they all take off,  camera shy I guess.

So I went looking for flowers and they are few and far between.
HERE ARE SOME BUDS.

I have two new mushrooms of the ceramic kind.
I playing around with the font this one is clearer.

And lots of purple buds.

Here I found a another flower

Winter is a bit boring in the garden.

I'm not sure why I'm always showing pictures of my front door I guess I just like it.

  1. I do love your garden. So much greener and lusher than mine. And yes, Buckwheat looks totally blissed out.
Your front door is very special too.

    1. They are very soft and velvety to touch, but dribble a bit too much for me.
I hope to get some bigger mushrooms next week if there are still some left.

  4. What is the plant in the second picture called? We have several colors of them; they live indoors. We call them Christmas cactus; that's when they are supposed to bloom. Ours bloom frequently, the flowers are some variety of red.

  7. You must live in a very warm climate to have flowers blooming in the winter! Your outside plants are our inside houseplants! I love the bottle brush bloom and your ceramic mushrooms are really special. I do like your front door. The dogs are funny - they do look fierce but I bet they are teddy bears. xoxo

    1. Our climate is pretty warm for 9 months of the year but we can have a cold winter, no snow but icy winds and on clear days the temp can drop quickly at night.
The dogs are teddy bears but only if they know you.

  11. Tell me something if this is a cactus why does it flower in winter or is it out of season this year, I can't remember if this happens every year. But if it flowers at christmas as the northern hemi that's winter too.
The dogs are in so much trouble with their owner, they young one loves to chew, he likes memory foam pillows.
