A Cold afternoon at my daughters and Leroy in the sunshine

Nothing beats a warm and furry hug from Angus even if he is a bit smelly
On sunday I visited my daughter and her partner to catch up on a show I was watching, she had recorded for me.
It cold here at the moment and I need two blankets when sitting on the lounge and if Angus sits on you thats very warm.

But sometimes he gets off  and you need to bunch up the blankets to warm up the spot where he was.

It's the next day and the weather is sunny this morning but these two are not moving.

The doves have come in to pinch Pidge's food , he is there on the right telling them off nobody takes much notice of him, every now and then I feel sorry for him and shoo them away but their is plenty of food to go round.

Leroy is sunning her back .

She will not look at the camera but the sun does feel good.

Now I will do the top of my head.
Well I'm going to sit in the sun and veg out today, bye for now.

  1. Hello Merle...Oh, aren't our pets wonderful. Your kitty refuses to look up to the camera. Mine is like that sometimes, too. She might even turn around and put her back to the camera, the little freshie. ha haha

Yes, I imagine your doggie does keep you warm!

    Thanks for sharing. Susan

    1. All the animals live with me but Angus is my daughters dog but he spent his puppy years with me so he visits for a couple of days a week because they both work and he gets lonely and I miss him.

  2. Hey I love your blog and your animals. I have one request - my eyes must be bad - but the writing is so small - can you enlarge it? I do have a problem reading it. You have a bunch of wonderful fur babies. sandie

    1. I have tried to change the writing and make it bigger but some reason it doesn't work, I tried capitals but forget sometimes but will try and remember some one else has said the same thing.

  3. If you hit control +, the font will enlarge (keep tapping until it gets to the size you want). Control - decreases the size.
Love your animals. Jazz adores having his photo taken, but Jewel scarpers as soon as she sees the camera.

  4. Thanks for that I will have a go.
We just had rain but the rainbow appeared before the rain isn't that unusual.

  5. aha! I knew there was a way to enlarge the font, but I'd forgotten what it was. Thank you Elephant's Child. I had to get my magnifying glass...at least the comments are large enough to read.
I have a little suntrap here, my front porch faces north and the winter winds come from the south, so the porch is sheltered from them by the flats and gets nice and warm in the sun. It's tiny, but I have a chair out there.

  6. How do the doves get in pidge's cage? Or, can he come and go, too?

    1. Pidge's cage is only for eating in, he was badly injured so the cage was built in case he couldn't fly but he has completely recovered, he is completely free to come and go.

  8. Leroy is an unusual-looking cat. What is her breed? I have three cats and love them to death.

    1. They are all moggies, the one sitting in the sun has a ginger mother so she has ginger highlights but she is mainly a tabby.

  9. The first photo looks very much like an 'avoiding the tongue in the face' manoeuvre.

  15. it's always lovely to get a little snapshot of other folks' lives. Angus is a sweetie and I know what you mean about how warm it is when they lie on you! I love that your cat wouldn't accommodate your request for a photo!
