A sleepy week

Bo Peek had the flu this week he spent all day on the lounge, you never get to sleep alone on my lounge it belongs to the cats, they own it fully.

My daughter had a baby shower last weekend,
 She had purple spotted balloons
 Australian native flowers.

and these pom pom things that took forever to make, they had instructions.
Looking out the back the other day I saw a crane poking above the trees.
A new house is being built two houses over, they must have had prefab walls as the were all up in a day.
These two are never together but one is sound asleep, the cranky ginger one who is the other ones mother but no motherly love there.

On the bus stop in Parramatta, I'm pretty sure that building was much smaller last time I was here as you can see they are numbering the floors maybe they are going up so fast they forget which floor they are on.

Well it's goodbye from me and Leeroy as you can see napping is never alone.

  1. Sorry to hear there's been flu there, hope you didn't get it.
Woo-Hoo on the baby shower! I was thinking of knitting something and sending it over, but I'm such a slow knitter, the babies would be in school before I finish anything.

    1. You would get a shock at all the buildings, big bucks to be made for buying a few blocks of land and stocking a building on, but there has been a big council shake up here does that make you think they are a bit on the shonky side I know it does to me.

    1. The baby shower was a big success.
The flu boy has gone home for a few days and won't be back till he goes back to work so we should be ok.

  7. You have had the hottest July day and some really cold weather, so great that you cover up for your nap. We saw Parramatta a few years ago and I am not sure I like what is happening there now.

    1. It's happening all the way along the railway line and I'm not happy about it .
Where I live their was a limit to, two stories but if they change that I might end up with a block of flats next to me which would block out my sun, would not happy about that.

  10. The babies shower sign is really lovely and it has been good weather to have a nap in a cosy place. The towers in Parramatta are just a sign of the relentless property development happening everywhere I wonder when it will stop.

    1. I'm hoping very soon, it's worring and doesn't help the young get homes but the government are cleaning in stamp duty.

    1. They are cute but fiddly to make.
Cats are great sleeping companions as long as they don't sharpen their claws on your tummy like mine do sometimes.
