Crazy computer and relaxing garden pictures.

The computer and I  are having a power struggle at the moment, she or he I never given it a gender has decided that I will not make comments or replays on my own blog so until she changes her mind so be it.  A few weeks ago everything was so small but only on facebook,  twitter and when I was writing the blog but normal size on the finished blog, that is all back to normal now, now it's telling me facebook is spelt wrong no wonder I have spelling problems.
So I will let her sulk for a while and wonder outside to absorb some sunlight in my cool garden, the weather here is heating up but so much cooler under the trees.
Also I now have a Iphone my daughters old one but I had it all set up today but still playing with it not too good at operating it yet.

New table and chairs these are so cool to sit on not sure how long they will last, they groan when I sit on them.

Drummy rooftop garden is coming along nicely, keeps her little house cool.

The beer fairy's garden there are pumpkins and tomatoes in there somewhere and lots of fouroclocks, they will be pretty when the flower.
Told you I had a windmill it's a bike wheel, birdcage stand and plastic fanblades, well I like it.\

My herbs and tomato plants.

No flowers on my jacaranda tree yet, they have not put on much of a display this year, a cold snap put them off I think.

and the poor bay tree looks bad but have noticed a few green nobs maybe still will survive.
World events still being discussed by these two.
These two have returned to their Queensland home, my turn to visit next.

It's going to be 37c here tomorrow, maybe I will spend the day in the bath.

A visit from the banana benders.

The backyard at my sons house, I've never seen it with out bits of timber and other building materials laying around, looks pretty good now. My son and daughter were down last week to sort out some drainage problems in the bathroom and laundry.
His tenants have two dogs, so the only things laying around now is a few dog toys.
The dogs have there own house once was the cat house.
Cute little fellows guarding the back door.
and the old bath is just right for the dogs.

I always liked the kitchen

But the bathroom had a drainage problem so he had a few jobs to sort out.

Work done the beer fairy and son off to play golf
Like father like son both have to pull silly faces if you aim a camera at them.
Notice I gave them a second chance the beer fairy hasn't changed and the son has another silly look.
Who knows what they are doing here, notice the back door holder uper poor old Charlie (thats the cars name), he is the work horse that lives out the front of our place.
My tree is in flower maybe about two weeks a year.

My front fence needs a paint

This is for my laundry floor but now everyone tells me I will need about ten bags. Lots of advice, any way I got different ideas now, will update you when i get it all worked out.

Sunday 19 October 2014

After the rain the rest of the week was pretty good.

Wednesday was rainy and overcast and Thursday just a bit cool by Friday we were back to spring weather so time to go and visit first to my friend Barbara's house.
She has a windmill too and it doesn't work but it's much more realistic than mine this one looks like a windmill.
These are pretty flowers you always need pretty flowers,
And I have always liked her mural just outside the back door.
These are nice green ferns.
And tis flower is just so lovely.

As are the broms

and we can't forget Kyton the dog he stood so still and posed for me.
Next it was off to my daughters house to stay the night, we had lots of chats and a very good Thi dinner.

Angus is always good for a few photos
I just like these things ,

Some new fruit trees.

On Sunday just down the road and across the street there was a wedding.
All the wedding guests climbed into the big red bus and the wedding party into the old english taxies.
There was a guy with a rather large drum and he banged away on it so most of the street came out to see what was happening we are a curious bunch.

And they rode off into the sunset and around the corner, hope all goes well for the young couple.
